Archery

My favorite skill of all is archery! I love this skill because it takes skill to hit people from a far instead of just running up and taking a lot of damage. 2 handed weapons are not my favorite because i don't like the look of it. when using a bow i feel that i am on fair ground with the others there. I love to sneak up and kill people from far away with my ebony bow (yes it is not the best, i just started a new game), it is the best when you just 1 shot someone. One problem people have with archery is that you run out of arrows very quickly. That is when pick pocketing comes in handy, i usually just pick pocket all my arrows from the guards. the best place to do this is in solitude where all the guards are practicing their skills by the castle. there are SO many arrows to take. good luck in Skyrim!

leveling up easier!

a quick way that i level up smithing, enchanting, and speech is to use this system. In this system you make iron daggers to level up your smithing, then you can enchant them to level up your enchanting. after you do all this then sell them to merchants to get your speech up! its the easiest way to level up these skills which are usually hard to level up! happy playing Skyrim!!!!

Off topic for a bit..

Hi all, hope you had an amazing new year! 2012 will bring much happiness for most, but sadness for others. I want to know everyone's new years resolutions! Mine is to be nicer to my peers. so comment with what your new years resolutions are!

Happy new year everyone, i cannot believe that today will be the last day of 2011. 2011 has been filled with ups and downs but overall it has been a good year! The release of Skyrim made it ten times better, after all that is what this blog is all about. so for your tip of the day it is, do not always fast travel places. you miss out on the game when you do this because a lot of quests are from random encounters. So remember when a place doesn't seem TOO far away then do not fast travel. To make this traveling easier get shadowmere from the dark brotherhood, hes really fast!

best character

in my opinion the best character is by far the Khajiit (http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Khajiit). They are well known for being sneaky and thieves. My character right now is a sneaky archer with 100 pick pocket and around 50 sneak. the only down side to being Khajiit is that whenever you enter a store the people are always like "don't even think about stealing anything", if you don't mind that it is an awesome character. the other thing is that there are not many of them in the world, Skyrim is full of racists in my opinion and no one welcomes Khajiit. Also the Khajiit have 15 points added to hand to hand because of their claws. If you get your heavy Armour up to the point where you can wear gantlets and you get the perk that causes the defense of them to be an attack in hand to hand that is a great way to be. I used to be a wood elf, until my last play through where i chose a Khajiit, it was well worth it.

getting to 100 pick pocket

hi all I'm back, a few weeks ago i made it my goal to get 100 pick pocket. without cheating i was there in like 2 hours. its easy! all you do is pickpocket everything from everyone when you get to a level when you can pick pocket stuff. I've also found that when you get to be a really high level if you plant a lot of money on someone you can pickpocket it and level up easy.

starting the dark brotherhood

this took me a long time to figure out how to start this quest. Unlike oblivion where you were just visited by some creepy guy you actually have to do something. joining the Dark Brotherhood requires you to complete the quest innocense lost. Speaking to Innkeepers or to certain NPCs in Riften will inform you that there is a child in Windhelm named Aventus Aretino who is attempting to summon the Dark Brotherhood.
